We will leave today around 1:00 for the Opening Ceremonies......doors open at 2:00. We were told to wear white and make sure we are there and in our seats by 5:00 for the "audience participation" training.
There's a lot of talk about all the lineups and security hassles......from what we've seen it is only "talk". Everything seems to be running really smooth......if anything, Vancouver is overprepared.
Watched the weather this morning......on the Sea to Sky highway (road to Whistler) the temperature was 9 degrees. It's supposed to rain later today and tomorrow......hoping the weather guy is wrong.
