NIGHT WITH THE VANCOUVER SYMPHONY

I had forgotton to mention......attending the Voodoo Valentine performance of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra had a couple of very special, and moving twists. Firstly, DBR is Haitian....he played a very stirring rendition of the Haitian national anthem (he had never done that before at a recital.....we all stood throughout). Then we all rose and sang the Canadian national anthem while the orchestra played (in honour of Canada's first gold medal).....followed by a full minute of silence for the fallen Georgian luger.

  1. I have heard from both Lyndall and Sol who are thoroughly enjoying your reporting and we all are totally impressed. This makes us all feel like we are part of the whole event.

They also both remarked on what a beautiful baby Gabriella is.
